KS: The figure in the white jersey is, I am sure, Mike Parkes. I believe Mike Parkes demonstrated how to drive the Imp, when the Dunlop driver ventured to suggest that the Mini Minor was faster around a corner.
GW: I'm pretty sure Mike Parkes is standing as the right hand person of the three observers in the background.

The car is A10, the test team's management appraisal car.

GW: The driver is Scott Glover (6'4" or thereabouts). He doesn't recall the event so can't add much at this point, though he might have some interesting stories to tell about life at Linwood. We were both pupils at the same time... starting date circa '53. I moved down to London about '55 and Scott stayed on the management / production / engineering side in Coventry / Ryton before moving to Linwood, while the Imp was being built.
KS: He looks very like Graham Havard but as I remember Scott Glover was taller and the driver in the car looks tall. He was Personal Assistent to Peter Ware and that would account for him accompanying the Ryton test team to Halfpenny Green. Also A10 certainly wasn't build until after Graham moved to Linwood.
