The vehicle in the photograph is unique. It is the sole remaining car of three that were built. During the mid '70s students at Warwick University constructed them as a project and it was anticipated that the car would possibly go into production.

DUD 304C: Oxfordshire C.C., 1965.

This particular car was apparently fitted with a standard Imp engine and ended up as a runabout, till the engine expired. It was then laid up in a barn and there it stayed.
In 1986 David Ellis spotted it for sale in the Thames Valley Trader and purchased it. He then restored it "with lots of desirable goodies such as:
