Returning from a 4WD expedition on Sunday, we saw James Sillay's rebuilt car on its trailer on the Rimutaka hill road, obviously returning intact from some event - maybe the same one.

Hi Guys
Whilst absent mindedly floundering around the world-wide-wait, I stumbled on a reference to James Sillay and the hillclimb imp. The car is still alive and well, although suffering from running another set of bearings. James only uses the car for hillclimbs.
It'll go back together one day, James is busy on his house at the mo!!
I am his brother, we originally built the car in 1986. I also compete in hillclimbs, in a Nissan 240RS. Have a look at http://www.geocities.com/timsillay/240.html , there is a picture of James and I sitting on the car.
