"Cover painting by Terence Cuneo, specially commisioned by Rootes, shows the record-breaking Hillman Imp on its remarkable run across Europe. Officers of the R.A.F. Motor Sports Association drove 4,280 miles through 29 countries - across Europe and back! - in only 104 hours 30 minutes, averaging 41.15 m.p.h. at 38.5 m.p.g."
