Just off the record, lumenition seems to be the biggest supplier of electronic ignition.
I'm using the mobelec electronic ignition for almost 18 years now It works great at any temp/voltage.
(Does anybody know it they are still being made ?)
It also does away with the points instead it uses a pick-up coil and an adaptor to be glued on the distributor flange. The coil is a high power one.
Nice side effect: it's great when you want to fit a generator and the engine (distributor) isn't set up for it.
