I have been up to Ian Carters this weekend and I now have all my engine bits back YIPPEE.

He has done a superb job !! he certainly knows his stuff ! and is most helpful.

You might recall my messages about using Skoda Cylinder Liners well here is the story so far...........
The Skoda Liners turned out to be only suitable for converting Imp Blocks, they are not suitable for to Sunbeam B1 Blocks.... so I went back to the scrap yard with the data book. I obtained some liners from an Early Peugeot 205 These are the liners that I have had my Block converted with.
These liners are most suitable they enable you to have your block converted to 950, 988 and 1040cc. They do require some machining when fitting to the block but they still work out a cheaper option than the Pucker Imp items.

If any one wants the details of suitable liners please let me know as I am preparing a list.
I can also supply the liners if you require them.

I would be very interested to get details of the liners, their cost and conversion information. I would need to get liners from you as many of the vehicles you mention as sources of parts are in really short supply over here (I have never seen a Skoda or 205 in Kalgoorlie).
Could you please send details to me at: [...]

I will send you a spreadsheet detailing all of the liner details by the end of the week.

I will also be sending a copy into Impressions.
