Stella the Stiletto
1968 Sunbeam Stiletto, 6 years being restored by a novice. She has been on the road for 12 months covering 1000 miles since winning best in show at Bangor 2011.
I organised and lead Barnsley Area end of season run 2011 and start of season run 2012, and also attended a couple of local shows.
Since Bangor, I have managed to fit the chrome around the front and rear screens (nightmare !!!).
Hand painted and polished the alloy wheels.
Attached the side stripes.
Fitted and trimmed the steering wheel.
Had the bumpers and badges rechromed.
Once again I would like to give a big thank you to The Imp Club and The Forum for their help and support in Stella's restoration.

Restoration history incl. engine modifications
Total bare body ground up nut + bolt restoration. New parts used where available. 930 B1 sourced from net and modified to fit plus overbore +30. Period alloys fitted (Astrali). New interior, new vinyl roof, new carpet etc. total respray inside + out. Disc brakes on front (Ford Ka)
