No, not much is wrong, but the steering rack (or what was it?) does give a slight noise when driving on the grass. No sounds on normal road, but replace it anyway for the wife's peace of mind.

Hi Franka
We talked about my green beast at Imp 2012 and you photographed the information sheet. I've just added a comment to this picture on flickr which might add some detail. flickr.com
Nice to see you there

Comment by long_jon2:
Built by Bernard Banning in Nuneaton, up the road from Coventry, in 1971 for international rallies as a Group 2 car, it had some works support and works parts in the suspension particularly. It was re-registered in '72 for use in UK rallies and continued to be used at club level in the early '70s acquiring its green colour scheme in that period.

It's still got its original works heated front screen. I've never seen another - only modern versions that have slightly wider bus bars.

Attached is part of the picture I was sent by Bernard Banning of it competing on the Tour d'Ypres in '71 with its original registration number. That is an odd story about how it was re-registered! He wanted to use it on a UK event, applied for a tax disc and was told, "no, it's after July 1st, you must re-register the car". So it went from K reg to L reg.
