I had known the car for several years (in better times). It was going to be scrapped if I didn't want it.

Restoriation history incl. engine modifications:
Purchased 1986 for £30 with MoT!
Condition was poor but the floor was sound. Required new sills, doors, o/s front wing, rear window & surround, bonnet repair to bottom of floor vehicle. Engine cover replaced + cross member. All parts supplied by a donor 1973 Imp Super. Also used front suspension, transaxle & roof lining from donor Imp. New carpet. Respray 1989.
